THE GENERAL KYOTO Shijou Shinmachi ligger bekvämt beläget i Kyoto och erbjuder amerikansk frukost samt gratis WiFi i alla utrymmen. My partner and I stayed for 4 nights at this place while we were in Kyoto, and needless to say we loved it. The location was perfect, just a couple minutes to places that we frequent (Nishiki market, Weekenders coffee), and proximity to train stations wasn't bad either. The staff were great and very helpful when we needed something. We have nothing but good comments, and would very much like to come back again soon :)

Great location with relatively close walking distances to most places. Rooms are very spacious and spotlessly clean with good amenities. The staff are awesome, friendly and very helpful. There are some great little cafe's close by serving Australian style coffees and lots of restaurants to satisfy every diet. The Hotel also has a cafe serving breakfast and afternoon/evening snacks and drinks as well. From the outside it doesn't look like much but inside this place is one of the better boutique hotels for sure. I highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel GOCO stay Kyoto Shijo Kawaramachi har ett perfekt läge i området Nakagyo Ward i Kyoto, 14 minuters promenad från Kyoto Shigaku Kaikan Conference Hall, 1,3 km från Samurai Kembu Kyoto och 16... 30 meters to Nishiki market :) - 10’ walk to Pontocho or Gion. Room is small yet spotless, not to mention the washing machine, the sink & dishwashing liquid (sometimes you need to buy food from Nishiki and being back to the room to eat).
