Extremely wonderful welcoming hosts who went above and beyond and treated us like old friends. Lovingly decorated room with attention to details to promote our comfort. Great view of the castle outside our room window, and views of the town from the garden. Amazing breakfast buffet served, with so many options. Extra bonus if you are a musician - you may end up doing some impromptu performance with your host!

We were invited for a complimentary digestive in the library when we returned from dinner in the evening and the freshly prepared breakfast was delicious, consisting of freshly squeezed oranges, home made yoghurt and conserves, fresh fruit salad, warm crepes and fresh bread.

Rebooked because it was fine then, but then pleasantly surprised to find the building and rooms have been sensitively upgraded to full 'boutique' standard whilst retaining the charm of the old stone construction. Dinner out on the Riverside terrace was great. Room amongst the cheapest in Loches at the time which left me a bit of cash to indulge myself with in the restaurant.
