Tetsuro makes you feel incredibly welcome and is so helpful. We ended up doing an Edo period tour that he tailored for us and it was amazing. Rooms were clean, comfortable, and very functional! Having a stovetop, kettle, and fridge along with convenience stores, super markets, restaurants, and bakeries nearby gave a ton of flexibility. About a 10 minute walk to the Iriya station on the Hibiya line and 15 minutes to the Asakusa station.

Hotel Sails Asakusa is a great value for money self serviced apartment in the Asakusa area, contrary to Google Maps it is walking distance to Sensoji, Tokyo Skytree & Ueno. For Tokyo standards the apartments are super spacious with a balcony included. Having a laundry & balcony was also very handy and loved how it was in a local neighbourhood but still central. Even though there is no reception there are staff at Hotel Sails who are amazing & are more than happy to help out. The apartments are kept clean & are a great value options for families or groups of 3 or more.

Conveniently set in the Taito Ward district of Tokyo, plat hostel keikyu minowa forest is located a few steps from Ichiyo Memorial Museum, a 8-minute walk from Jokanji Temple and 0.8 miles from Kinryu... Staff were excellent, very friendly and good English. The rooms were tidy, reasonably sized (by Japanese standards), almost like a business hotel as much as a hostel. there were plenty of showers and toilets, although they are shared, but never had to wait for one and they were always exceptionally tidy. clothes washing was available for a small fee.
