Comfort was excellent, staff friendly, and it is unique not least in that it has great meeting/business facilities and bookshelves full of fascinating books, old and new. It is a rare gem, a tasteful mix of the old and the new (it did actually use to be a foundry).

Clean and comfortable rooms, very central location, great breakfast, very good facilities, polite and helpful staff. I’d definitely consider staying here again.

Thanks to the outstanding recommendations from two exceptional employees, I had the pleasure of discovering the enchanting Fishhoek and the captivating Babylonstoren farm. Staðsett í Cape Town’s söguleg De Waterkant, Man And Tree House t h e Best Host Ever býður upp á nútímaleg stúdíó með eldunaraðstöðu, svölum og borgarútsýni. Ókeypis WiFi er til staðar. Last minute booking and was able to check in immediately. Was much appreciated. Very friendly owner. Always a great location in De Waterkant, but despite being close to the bars in the area, it was still surprisingly quiet.

We received a good reception from Guido & Henk since day one. The house was neat, furnished with everything you need in a home. The location is convenient to everything ie mall, Restaurants, Parks, Beach, V&A waterfront. We stayed for 9 days and felt like home. Parking is on the street but very safe with a security guards day & night. I would recommend the Purple House at anytime.
