Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

So happy with this hotel. Warm, informative and welcoming greeting on check in. All areas absolutely spotlessly clean. Delicious variety of foods for breakfast served by most helpful lady. Felt really safe in this location. Ideally situated close to trains and buses and beside lovely shopping street. Easy to reach many of the main attractions. Walked early to Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps and managed to avoid the crowds and got back to hotel in time for breakfast (7.30-11am). Decent shower with standard hotel toiletries. Reception so helpful in arranging tickets and taxi bookings. Would definitely go back.

United StatesGreat location - just a short walk away from the train station and outside the noisy areas. Hotel is impeccable and highly updated with taste and quality. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They took luggage to our room when we were walking around when first arrived. They even packed a water bottle and pastry for breakfast as we had to leave early.

United StatesThe room was simple, but I wouldn't have wanted to stay more than a couple of nights, with 4 of us in one room. The walk from the train station to the hotel was a little longer than expected because we had all of our luggage. I would definitely take a taxi with weather or late night.
We stayed with our 2 adult children, 25+21, comfortably in one room, which is a rare find in Rome, so it was a little less expensive than booking two rooms near the train station. The room was pristine and absolutely met our expectations. Friendly 24 hour staff that packaged up a small breakfast to go because we were leaving for the airport so early. They also have a lift, so no need to haul luggage up the stairs.

AustraliaLocation: Close to historic areas. We walked mostly (with kids). A different part of Roma we haven't stayed at before. Convenient and felt safe walking around at night. There's a restaurant next door (good food and entertainment😀). There are restaurants/cafes close by. A pharmacy nearby was handy when we needed something for the kids. Interior: comfortable and ticked all the facilities we needed as a family. Room was actually bigger than we thought. There were hooks in the bathroom! Important for us for towels to air-dry. We don't need daily room service. And hangers! Only place we stayed at that had enough hangers for a family of four. Renovated interiors. Very clean. Loved that you have to be buzzed in into the building. Reception: Check-in was seamless. We had an early morning check out and the reception team had everything sorted prior, including a taxi. And gave us takeaway croissants. So thoughtful. Thank you!. The reception team was welcoming and engaging. Loved the breakfast selection. Breakfast area is small and would have been a challenge to fit if most turned up at the same time. Please be patient. The cook/chef/area manager was super lovely and handled the requests from the guests very well.

CanadaSignage on the street is not very clear so when I arrived I was not sure which door to try and enter to get to the lobby on the second floor.
Very friendly and helpful reception. The room had two beds for the three of us, on the fourth floor where the breakfast room is, and had a small balcony with pretty flower boxes. Breakfast was very good with a nice selection of juices, breads, cheeses, meats and eggs. Walking distances to where we wanted to get to were short enough and the location meant we got to see a lot of Rome. Our walking tours included the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Colosseum and the Vatican. While it was close to the central train station Termini, we did not have opportunity to use it.
