  • Blue Bell Hotel Review score: 9

“Well set out and large rooms”

  • “Breakfast was great and so were the staff. Bedroom was comfortable and spotless if a little compact, but we did go for the cheapest room available. Lovely restaurant and beer garden. Much nicer than it looked on their dodgy website. Good access to local amenities.”

  • “The staff are very nice especially the restaurant staff in the main restaurant, I can’t remember the gentleman’s name but he greeted us for the evening on Sunday and he oozed charisma. Will definitely be staying here again and embarrass myself on one of the courses.”

  • Harbour Inn Review score: 10

“Centrally located, large and bright room. Very comfortable king size bed, modern bathroom with shower and beautiful deep free standing bath. The room was quiet and had all amenities needed. Lovely pub downstairs with delicious food and friendly chatty staff.”

  • Langley Castle Hotel Review score: 5

    “The history and location”

  • Estuary View Caravans Review score: 10

“The size of the caravan is lovely and big, didn't feel crammed at all, comfy bed, nice retro feel inside of the caravan, and views to die for, it was great sitting on the decking watching the wildlife. Host Simone is fabulous, she came to check everything was OK, and we got a welcome pack, which is a lovely touch. The caravan sits in a quiet spot, It's sheltered from the wind, which is good, short walk through some woodland and through the dunes to a big beach, All around a great stay, and we will return Regards A Happy Couple”

  • Lairds House Review score: 10

“Nice room in a good location and very friendly staff.”

  • Greenhead Hostel Review score: 8

“It’s great to find hostel accommodation still available in this much needed location. A one time YHA hostel, it has plenty of kitchen and communal space. It’s very clean. They were very accommodating about an early check in.”

  • White Swan Inn Review score: 8

“The touches in the room were well appreciated. Home made cake and sloe gin provided each day. The parking was free and great for our 2 dogs to wander around. A great location for visiting the area. Bamburgh Castle was only a 10 minute drive. What a beach at Bamburgh. Seahouses also close, a lovely seaside town.”
