Awarded two pavilions by the Michelin Guide 2020, Hotel Alza Kyoto is situated near the Kamo River and within Gion District, a 2-minute walk from Sanjo Station. This is my 3rd stay at this hotel. The room is very big & comfortable. Nice view of Kamogawa River. Location is superb close to Sanjo & Gion where so many restaurants are closed by. Also close to bus station and convenient stores.

Located in Kyoto, less than 1 km from Gion Shijo Station, Gion Elite Terrace provides accommodation with a shared lounge, private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Very nice hotel with large rooms and a really nice staff. We had 4 nights there and I think it was the right choice for the January time due to very good location - most of interesting sites are close enough and due to sauna in the room which helped to get warm after a cold walking day.

Well set in the Higashiyama Ward district of Kyoto, Rinn Gion Kenninji Villa is set 1.1 km from Samurai Kembu Kyoto, 1.5 km from Shoren-in Temple and 1.7 km from Kyoto Shigaku Kaikan Conference Hall. to travel through the dark night from busy Osaka and arrive in Kyoto Gion district to helpful staff and a spacious, immaculate room with lovely beds and impressive bathroom is the best way to start a holiday. Then awake to find everything on your doorstep, temple, food, subway entry, geishas walking to work... and of course vending machines with everything needed.

The hotel was above our expectations. Super friendly and helpful staff. Warm and welcoming. Large spacious room, great AC and great facilities. Super clean everywhere. I loved that you could borrow mangas from the library.

Well situated in the Higashiyama Ward district of Kyoto, Rinn Kitagomon is situated 1.3 km from Sanjusangen-do Temple, 1.5 km from Samurai Kembu Kyoto and 1.4 km from Kiyomizu-dera Temple. Amazing hotel in a great location. We got the room B with a queen size bed - it was super spacious and the bed was really comfortable. They provide a nespresso machine and 2 coffee/2 tea bags. Room temperature is really nice, good aircon. Good shower pressure. Great room/toilet lighting. Since there isn’t room service everyday they provide enough towels in the bathroom. Toiletries are just great - they give the hotel a luxury touch that we were not expecting! They also offer water, a microwave and coin laundry machines on the 2nd floor. It is quite easy to get public transportation around the hotel, and it is also a walking distance to some main Kyoto attractions. Overall it was one of the best hotels we have stayed at!
