Perfectly located in a quiet neighbourhood and only a 7mins walk to Kyoto Kyocera Museum. Staffs are energetic, friendly and always eager to help. Calm and tasteful interior, woody scent, quiet, beautiful outdoor garden. Lovely spacious room with open bath, comfortable bed, relaxing atmosphere, fun teaware to play with. Breakfast was beautiful and plentiful. Kaiseki dinner of the inhouse restaurant was also delicious and well presented.

Hotel Okura Kyoto Okazaki Bettei -Age Requirement 12 over- has a fitness centre, garden, a restaurant and bar in Kyoto. This hotel was exceptional. So calm and relaxing. The breakfast was delicious especially the scrambled eggs. I was also very happy that the kitchen could cater to vegetarians. The staff were very attentive and couldn't have done more. The room was also great, nice bath and comfortable bed. Everything I needed was there. I can't wait to visit again.

Set in Kyoto and within 500 metres of Samurai Kembu Kyoto, Rinn Niomon has a garden, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi. This 3-star hotel offers a concierge service and luggage storage space. The hotel was easy to find and near bus stop. It has nespresso coffee machine but pods are limited to 1 per day and need to ask front desk for refill. They have free drinking water and an ice dispenser. The room we stayed in was big and has a sitting area. Beds were also comfortable. Will stay again.

If I could give it 6 stars I would. we had a great room overlooking the river and cherry blossom (remember to boom a river view room, it’s worth it). service was outstanding and staff directed us to near by and distant restaurants and helped with booking when there was language barriers. Free excellent cold beer at the lobby. room was clean and lots of amenities including a Nespressp machine which was critical when waking up.

Situated in Kyoto and with Kyoto Imperial Palace reachable within 1.8 km, Kamo Residences by Reflections features concierge services, non-smoking rooms, a garden, free WiFi throughout the property and... Wonderful greeting with local Mochi and a refreshing glass of champagne and green tea. We were able to check-in early at around 11:30. Thank you to the manager for her flexibility. This boutique is located by the River. Our suite had a clear view over local shrines and the river delta. Imperial Palace is 5min walking distance. Shimogamo Shrine, a 10 minute walk. Concierge booked a three day tour guide for us who took great care of us. We booked last minute and could not get good restaurant or guide reservations. Rio took care of everything. Lovely property, manager showed us other suites too, spacious and home feeling.

The location and the map that they gave me, it was super helpful. The owner were so nice and explained everything in an easy way. The room has a beautiful view.

Tadashi insisted on picking me up from the train station, on his day off as well. Himself and Yuki are lovely people and very welcoming. Everthing is meticulously clean and the bed was so comfortable, i had the first decent nights sleep since arriving in Japan 6 days previous. There is a view of a Buddhist temple out of the bedroom window and the neighbourhood where the property is seems safe and quiet.

Strategic location & near to most happening area in Kyoto by walking distance. It's more like an Airbnb accommodation with all necessary facilities provided such as Washing machine, dryer, oven for long stay. It's clean & spacious compared with the rest of the accommodation we stayed in Japan. Friendly staffs & all fluent in English with good service provided & always react to our request promptly.
